Rev’d Ruth Hanlon
Ruth became the Rector of the parish in September 2024.  She is passionate about her faith and longs to share the good news and the hope we have in Jesus in the church and local community.  She longs to see God’s Kingdom grow and the parish to flourish.  Ruth is thrilled to be living on Philip Island where she enjoys beach swims, walks, rides, coffees and reading books.  She is married to Michael and has 4 young adult children and 2 son in laws

Marinus van Meerten
Marinus joined the parish as assistant minister in April 2026. His primary responsibility is to oversee the congregation at St Augustine’s in San Remo. Marinus feels a deep sense of call to rural ministry and will be at the island the next two years as minister-in-training with Bush Church Aid. He longs to see the church on the island renewed and built up and to share the love of Christ with this community. He and his young family (two kids) live in Cape Woolamai and love going to the Church Island Farm and the back beach. See you around!
